How to build a healthy body

Every person should care much about health. It is hard for you to do what you want without a healthy body. As the saying goes:’’The body is the capital of revolution.’’ Building a good body is really important. You can put this saying on a banner display and remind yourself now and then. So how to build a healthy body?

Get plenty of sleep
If you do not have enough sleep, you will have no energy to do anything and be slow in reacting. Enough sleep time means 7-9 hours per night for adults, 8-10 hours for teenagers, and 9-11 hours for children. If you are a pupil and have early school times, you had better go to sleep earlier. Of course, getting enough sleep doesn’t mean you can overdo it. Sleeping too much can be as bad as not sleeping enough.

Have a balanced diet
A healthy body needs all kinds of nutrients, such as carbohydrates, protein, fruits, vegetables and fat, etc. You can get carbohydrates from the whole grains. The best sources of protein are lean meat, fish, eggs, and nuts. It is also good to eat some fruits and vegetables every day. Besides, fat is also needed to keep your body healthy. You can get beneficial fats from fish oil, olive oil, and coconut oil.

Drink water
Try to drink 8 glasses of water every day. It helps you digest and detox better. Not drinking enough fresh water can lead to many problems, such as headache and dehydration. It is a good habit to drink water. It will make you healthier and healthier.

Take some exercise
We often say that the key to the life is exercise. Exercise can make you feel energetic and look better. Why? That is because endorphin will be released by the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus when you take exercise. At last, you will feel happy and excited.

Walking is a wonderful exercise. If time is enough, you can walk to work or school. If your destination is far away, you can get off the bus or subway a stop earlier and then have a walk.
